IMPACT Speaker Series

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from “building a venture around intellectual capital” to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations” and “socially responsible leadership." The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and the Atlanta community an opportunity to network and learn from high tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business leaders.

Leadership Roundtable

The Leadership Roundtable was created to facilitate dialogue and learning about values-based leadership among Georgia Tech faculty and staff. Individuals are invited to participate in a series of Roundtable activities designed to enhance their understanding of leadership and personal and organizational values. The Leadership Roundtable program provides participants with the tools and techniques they need to effectively develop leadership from within their respective areas.

Eastern Europe Summer Study Abroad Program

After two very successful summer programs in Budapest, Hungary, (check out our blog), we are very excited to announce the expansion of the program to Poland and the Czech Republic. The base will still be in Budapest, but we are now including two very important locations, Cracow and Prague, to better understand the realities of social entrepreneurship and the leadership that is takes to develop strong civil societies. The Eastern Europe Study Abroad Program (Summer 2013) offers interested students the opportunity to gain insight into the global civil society, to learn about the challenges of creating and leading effective and sustainable social enterprises, and to make a positive impact by working closely with a non-profit organization in Budapest, Hungary.
